Cape Town’s elitist turnt up at the #SKYYWAYMTV Movie and TV Awards Launch Party this Saturday at District. A lavish night featuring Riky Rick, DJ PH and Aux Gawd. It was definitely a trap and we’ve got some tea! So sit down and take a sip…
As part of the SKYY VODKA Community, I got an invite to attend the event. And never one to miss up an opportunity, I switched it up a notch, to get an all exclusive so I can keep you plugged in to the coolest events in the city! So hunay, grab a cocktail and let me cure your thirst.
All Access baby!
Skyy Vodka cocktails on entry.
A few note worthy moments and these were my favourites:
Riky Rick (Lunch bar)
All eyes on King Kotini
LOL that girls face is everything!
All eyes (and hands), were on King Kotini when he took to.. wait for it.. THE FLOOR! Riky Rick literally made the circle bigger when he became one of us on the dance floor. When it comes to live performances, the King of Cotton is no doubt in my personal top 5. Him and Cassper deserve to be in the same Whatsapp group.
uBhut’ Madlisa. Bhut’ thatha konke enginako!
Ladies… MTV’s very own Sandile Ntshingila.
He definitely knows how to stir up a crowd and man’s got the pots!
The image of greatness personified.
Allow me to introduce this man, his name is DJ PH
! Hands down one of the best club banger DJ’s i’ve ever got to witness. The first time I’ve ever heard him play was at some Heineken
event some time back, and I was hooked! Saturday was no different.
It’s officially a trap!
Any DJ who plays a Beyonce
track is automatically my favourite. For a man who claims that Cape Town ain’t got his back, he sure as hell got some skill! Ya’ll better quit sleeping on a nigga!
It was my very first time at the club and I must say, i’m quite impressed. Honestly, the first thing that pops in my mind when I think clubbing is (STILL) Long Street. I know ok? And since Long Street has turned into a Marabastad, I seldom go clubbing and if I do, i’m probably at 40/40 Club
. So it was so refreshing that Cape Town has a new party central that I can go to without being pestered by night workers and lurkers. We see you Harrington! So I’ll most definitely be visiting again!
I wasn’t bluffing when I said ‘Cape Town’s Elitist” pulled through! Witness the funk for yourself…
Spotted Miss Patty Monroe looking all fly and shiii!
International model, Sanele Xaba in Unknown Union
Songstress Valerie Omari
Radio Personality and Skyyway Ambassador, Loonie
And yours truly ofcourse 🙂 Never one to miss a photo moment!
