A few note worthy moments and these were my favourites:
All eyes (and hands), were on King Kotini when he took to.. wait for it.. THE FLOOR! Riky Rick literally made the circle bigger when he became one of us on the dance floor. When it comes to live performances, the King of Cotton is no doubt in my personal top 5. Him and Cassper deserve to be in the same Whatsapp group.
Allow me to introduce this man, his name is DJ PH! Hands down one of the best club banger DJ’s i’ve ever got to witness. The first time I’ve ever heard him play was at some Heineken event some time back, and I was hooked! Saturday was no different.
Any DJ who plays a Beyonce track is automatically my favourite. For a man who claims that Cape Town ain’t got his back, he sure as hell got some skill! Ya’ll better quit sleeping on a nigga!
It was my very first time at the club and I must say, i’m quite impressed. Honestly, the first thing that pops in my mind when I think clubbing is (STILL) Long Street. I know ok? And since Long Street has turned into a Marabastad, I seldom go clubbing and if I do, i’m probably at 40/40 Club. So it was so refreshing that Cape Town has a new party central that I can go to without being pestered by night workers and lurkers. We see you Harrington! So I’ll most definitely be visiting again!
I wasn’t bluffing when I said ‘Cape Town’s Elitist” pulled through! Witness the funk for yourself…
